A month has gone by already!!!

I can't believe how fast time is flying...Landree is already one month and a few days old. Yesterday we brought her for her well baby visit for her one month check up. And she is just well...perfect! She weighed 9lbs 8oz which put her in the 50th% and she was 21in which is also in the 50th%. Her Pedi was impressed with her muscle tone and control...she does well trying to hold her head and when we layed her on her belly on the examining table she was pushing her leg toward her back trying to roll over...the Dr. and I both looked at each other quite impressed. She has started cooing and just gave her Daddy her first real gummy smile, although I am a little hurt she gave it to me and not him...I was glad we were able to catch it on the camera.

Happy Halloween

So last night was Halloween...and it was a very long night for us. We had lots of fun, just a long night. We actually started out at 3:30pm because we take the girls to go see family, and alas this year will be the last year we do that, as we didn't get home until 8pm and only went to 8 houses. So next year we will go to a real neighborhood and do the door to door thing. Here are just a few pictures from our night...I hope you all enjoy.

Carving Pumpkins!!!

Our original plan was to go visit this really cool place called Pumpkin Town in Ct., and carve pumpkins. But the weather turned nasty, it was rainy and cold, so considering the fact that Landree is just a few weeks old we opted to not go and just went to the local pumpkin patch and quickly picked out three pumpkins. Next year we plan to make it to Pumpkin Town. We had a great time carving pumpkins and McKenna was quite pleased with the results. She very much enjoyed coloring her own pumpkin while Jake and I carved out the others. Of course with McKenna picking out the designs they all ended up looking like the characters in her favorite Nick Jr. cartoons.

Landree's Newborn Pictures

We took Landree to get her newborn photos done today...it was so great because she was awake for the majority of them. We were only able to get a couple with McKenna because she was being her typical self...crazy and non cooperative. Overall though, I am incredibly pleased with the outcome....I am in awe of the beauty of my girls.

McKenna's House

I got a package in the mail today...it was a "shower in a box" celebrating our new arrival from a group of my Virgo Mom's...the most wonderful and thoughtful friends a gal could have by the way. And the wrapped box came in a great big box, that then became McKenna's house. She is enjoying it tremendously...here are some pictures of her "painting" it and playing hide and seek.
