Visit with Family

My Grandmother and my Uncle are out visiting from Michigan. They came out to help my mom out with a few things and to spend Thanksgiving with us. It has been wonderful to have them here. Living 800 miles and a 14 hour drive apart makes our visits few and far in between. McKenna has greatly enjoyed playing with Uncle Howie and I was so very happy to introduce my Grandmother to her newest Great Grandchild. Time is short and you never know when you may see one another again so we tried to spend as much time together as we could.

Playing in the leaves!

Jake had the day off yesterday and we desperately needed to clean up the leaves in our yard. Luckily the weather cooperated and it was a beautiful day. McKenna enjoyed jumping and playing in them and I of course couldn't pass up a wonderful photo opportunity so I bundled Landree up and let her join in the fun too.

Last class of tumble tots....for now

Today was McKenna's last tumble tots class for this session. They invited everyone to come and take pictures as they got ribbons at the end of class. It was a treat for Nanna too, as Dad was McKenna's helper and she got to sit back and watch.

A month has gone by already!!!

I can't believe how fast time is flying...Landree is already one month and a few days old. Yesterday we brought her for her well baby visit for her one month check up. And she is just well...perfect! She weighed 9lbs 8oz which put her in the 50th% and she was 21in which is also in the 50th%. Her Pedi was impressed with her muscle tone and control...she does well trying to hold her head and when we layed her on her belly on the examining table she was pushing her leg toward her back trying to roll over...the Dr. and I both looked at each other quite impressed. She has started cooing and just gave her Daddy her first real gummy smile, although I am a little hurt she gave it to me and not him...I was glad we were able to catch it on the camera.

Happy Halloween

So last night was Halloween...and it was a very long night for us. We had lots of fun, just a long night. We actually started out at 3:30pm because we take the girls to go see family, and alas this year will be the last year we do that, as we didn't get home until 8pm and only went to 8 houses. So next year we will go to a real neighborhood and do the door to door thing. Here are just a few pictures from our night...I hope you all enjoy.
