Picture catch up

A few pictures of the girls on Valentines day! McKenna was very excited to give her Daddy his card that we made and his gifts...she is also infatuated with her new lovebug book that sings that came from us. Of course no holiday is complete with out a little bit of candy so that I am sure her heart of M&M's was her favorite.

This week McKenna also got her haircut again. And while she did very very well sitting still and looking down to get her haircut done, she wasn't as cooperative with getting her picture taken.

Both of the girls love love love the water...so we braved putting them in the tub together. Because Landree can't sit up by herself yet, her bumbo chair made the best helper and allowed her to have oh so much fun with her sister in the water. McKenna does so well with Landree in respect to being gentle and helping...she got the biggest kick out of helping wash Sissy up.

Landree's 4month update

It is hard to believe how fast time is flying!!! Landree is 4 months old already!! Yesterday we had her 4 month check up so I figured that was a good starting point on catching everyone up on how things are going. Landree is a peanut just like her sister and at 4mo she weighed in at 12lbs 8oz and was 24 and 14in. long. She is in perfect health, except for feeling a little yucky from having her immunizations yesterday. She has started on some cereal and seems to really like it...McKenna has a different opinion though, she insisted on trying it and then promptly spit it out and began to dry heave. Landree is such a happy and easy going baby. We thought McKenna was an easy baby, well with Landree we really hit the jackpot. She is becoming very social and smily...and just lights up anytime McKenna is near. She is also a thumb sucker...and although we may pay for it long term with our dental care, for right now it is just so stinking cute to watch her. And for a small update on McKenna...she is doing fabulously with potty training...at home she has no accidents and wears big girl undies all the time, we have yet to brave going out with out a pull-up but we soon will be.

Some fun in the snow!!!

It has been a much harsher winter so far than we are used to. As of right now we have 20 more inches of snow than average...and winter isn't even close to being over. It has also been bitterly cold, one of the coldest winters on record for us. So when the temp reached 33 degrees yesterday we took advantage of the warmer sunny weather and went an played in the snow. Landree wasn't to sure about all the cold and wasn't fond of the sled so she spent most of the time bundled up in Grammy's coat...McKenna on the other hand could not get enough, she had an absolute blast sledding, making angel's and building snowmen...she didn't want to come in.

Are you ready for some football???

Anyone who knows Jake knows that he is a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. And with the regular season wrapped up and the playoffs in full swing Jake has enlisted the girls in helping him cheer his beloved Eagles to victory. They were successful this past weekend, so I think they will be dressing in the same outfits this Sunday.

Christmas...a little late!

Sorry I am so late in posting our Christmas pictures...of course life is hectic and I haven't had the chance to, but before spring arrives I wanted to take the opportunity to share them with you. We had a wonderful holiday and hope that you all did too. Christmas eve we spent with Jake's family and then Christmas morning my Dad and step-mom came over to enjoy watching the girls open their gifts and enjoy a fantastic breakfast made by Jake. We ended our day by having dinner with my Mom, step-dad and brother. It was truly a wonderful day.
